The Aberrants are independent Agrian robots that have proliferated from a rogue carrier of which's job was to navigate through the primordial chaotic nature of Terrahypt during its formation.

The AI of this carrier was designed to rely on its own intuition and reasoning throughout the tasks it was given. But as it was making sense of its surroundings, it corrupted its own memory and forgot its latest mission. Information about this mission has been lost in translation, and the last known whereabouts of the carrier before the first encounter of aberrants.

Aberrants are weak and flimsy in their construction and have basic agrian mobility engines that barely propels them above 100 km/h. They are however relatively harmless if you remain still and never move towards them.
